Everyday Food: Events Focused on Food Insecurity
The idea for Everyday Deeds originated to help families dealing with food insecurity, especially during the holidays. Hunger is closely linked to various health issues from mental well being to chronic diseases. Everyday Deeds has a range of events that help support community organizations focused on this most basic need.
Everyday Needs: Events Focused on Basic Needs
The top requested items for many homeless shelters, transitional living facilities and street outreach programs are basic needs that many of us take for granted such as toothbrushes, socks and dishes. Everyday Deeds coordinates events to help local organizations provide these items to those in need.
Everyday Youth: Events Focused on Youth Support and Education
Many schools, teachers and families are still reeling from two years of academic and economic disruption caused by Covid-19. Everyday Deeds events focuses on supporting some of the most vulnerable members of society to meet their everyday needs.
